The company ELETRO SA was founded in 1989 by Christoforos Tsapatos. It operates exclusively in the field of mass catering. ELETRO SA has been successfully operating in the Greek market for more than 35 years.

The mass catering sector (hotels, restaurants, catering, etc.) is the environment in which the company operates through the exclusive representation and distribution of the best and highest quality food companies abroad.

The goal of ELETRO SA is to satisfy all the needs of its customers through the offer of specially selected products, thus offering high quality and ensuring an excellent gastronomic result.

The philosophy of our company - which has remained the same since its founding until today - is to constantly evolve and follow new trends in international gastronomy in order to provide the Greek market with ideas and solutions that will meet the needs of our partners. 

Infrastructure

ELETRO SA  employs more than 80 people. More specifically:     

Sales Department

The Sales Department consists of 30 associates, of which 16 salesmen/saleswomen operate in Athens, six in Thessaloniki, two in Rhodes, three in Crete, two in Ioannina, one in the Peloponnese, one in Corfu, one in Kos and one in Santorini.

Administration Department

20 people are employed in the Administration Department as well as the Legal Department.

Warehouse - Distribution network

The warehouse and distribution network consists of 31 employees. Our company's Distribution Network has been designed to strategically and effectively cover the entire country of Greece. Within the Attica region, but also around it, the distribution of our products is carried out with our privately owned trucks, thus ensuring their directness and the fastest and safest transport. The same applies to the regions of Thessaloniki-Chalkidiki, Epirus, Rhodes and Mykonos. Regarding the remaining regions of Greece, there are partnerships with reliable local merchants and transport companies, which constantly operate routes.

Chefs

 Within the ELETRO SA team, our Chefs play a vital role. They are consistently informed about new trends, undergo training on our latest products at the Production Houses, and showcase them to the Greek market through specialized events or live cooking demonstrations in our kitchen. 

Action plan

The primary goal for ELETRO SA is to enhance market penetration in the mass catering sector. To achieve this, the following actions are planned:

  • Participation in exhibitions such as HoReCa, Artoza, and Food Expo.
  • Strengthening our market presence through collaborations.
  • Seminars and training sessions for our company's employees aimed at improving their efficiency.
  • Visits by our Chef team to partners across Greece to present products and train Operators.
