SURGITAL
Surgital is the leading producer of fresh deep-frozen pasta in Italy. It is also active in the production of cubed sauces for the HoReCa sector.
The company, which started from a small craft workshop, managed to maintain the authenticity of its products on an industrial scale. Surgital produces 175 tons of fresh pasta and 30 tons of cubed sauces on a daily basis. In total, the company employs more than 350 workers in the central facilities, while in total they amount to 500 at Group level.
Today the area of the central facilities is located in Lavezzola, with an area of 35,000 m2, while in total it reaches 200,000 m2, with 34 production lines.
Innovation and sustainability are fundamental pillars of the company, starting from the special design of the maintenance process – which does not include additives, only the application of cold technology – to energy autonomy thanks to photovoltaic systems and methane cogeneration units.
